Art Trek: Out and About Preview Tuesday 23rd September 11am- 2pm Hillhead Library Exhibition open until Thursday 2nd October 2008 An exhibition of original drawings and prints, created by service users from Berryknowes, The Wedge and Toryglen Resource Centres, inspired by some of Glasgow’s famous cultural landmarks.

Blythswood House exhibition Since January 2008 Project Ability has facilitated visual arts workshops at Blythswood House in Renfrew, culminating in a permanent exhibition in the entrance of the building. Thanks to the participants for their achievements and staff.

‘Power and Death’ and ‘Resources and Movement’ A visual exploration of Early People National Museum Scotland, 16th May – 16th June A collection of original drawings, watercolours, ink sketches and prints inspired by the Early People collection. Sketching in situ, the artists developed their ideas. The finished work has been collated in books to be exhibited at the National Museum of Scotland. |

Art Trek and Friends:Shared LandscapesGlasgow Botanics Visitor Centre, 10th – 18th June An exhibition of original paintings by Art Trek and friends, all artists from Project Ability’s adult learning disability programme. The artwork is inspired by the artists’ favourite Glasgow Landmarks.

The Writing’s on the Wall
Hillhead Library, 16th June – 4th July
An exhibition of work based on the theme of ‘story telling’ and comprises of all new work on canvas by Trongate studios artists. As part of the West End Festival, the exhibition coincides with a series of story telling workshops and events.
